DevOps and systems architects dedicated to software sovereignty.

We help founders and retailers get out from under subscription rent by moving their tools onto infrastructure they own. Every guide on this site is written from a deployment we actually ran, on a server we actually pay for.

Our mission

Software rent compounds. A $200 monthly stack is $7,200 over three years, and at the end of it you own nothing and your data lives somewhere you cannot query. We think most small operations can own their tools instead — not because self-hosting is free, but because the trade is usually better than it looks, and because nobody selling subscriptions will ever tell you that.

We also say when it is not. Several articles on this site conclude against the self-hosted option, because that is what the measurements said.

The functions behind the work

We publish under a team byline rather than invented personal profiles. What follows is what each function covers, and where you can read the work it produced.

Retail deployments, peripheral integration, storefront synchronisation and the parts of a till that only fail in a real shop.

Four guarantees

These are commitments, not marketing. If we miss one, say so and we make it right.

Temporary SSH Keys and Zero-Knowledge Credential Handling

We work from an SSH key generated for your job and removed when it closes. You receive the fingerprint before we connect and written confirmation of its removal when we finish. Credentials you hand over are used only for the agreed work and are never stored after delivery. Nobody retains standing access to your server.

Zero-Downtime Store Hours Migration

Every cutover happens strictly outside your local operating hours, at a time you confirm in writing. Your current setup keeps serving until the replacement is verified working; the rollback path is prepared before we begin rather than improvised if something fails. You will not lose a sale to a migration.

Clean Audit Guarantee

Third-party code is inspected for malicious code and backdoors before it runs on your machine. If we find an obfuscated block, a hardcoded credential or an outbound call you did not ask for, you receive the file and the line number, and we stop until you decide how to proceed.

24-Hour Turnaround Upon Credential and Catalog Receipt

The clock starts when we have both your DNS credentials and your product inventory as a CSV file — not when you place the order. From that point a standard deployment is delivered within one business day. If anything makes that impossible, you hear it on day one rather than on day three.

How to check any of this

Every benchmark on this site names the hardware, the software version and the method. Several articles correct a figure we published earlier the same day, in the article itself, because a first measurement turned out to be an artefact. That is the standard we hold, and it is the easiest thing to verify before you send anyone money.
